Yetu Academy is designed to provide extra support to African American and other students through one-on-one advocacy, homework help, skill development training, community service opportunities and engaging activities that stimulate learning outside the classroom.
Afterschool Enrichment
We provide a culturally appropriate learning space and community for students to learn and grow. At Yetu Academy, we encourage students to work one-on-one with a tutor, to work independently or to learn together by teaching each other.

The Summer Learning Program is an academic enrichment program for school-aged students in the Pittsburgh area, hosted by Afrika Yetu & the Yetu Academy. Students engage in a number of culturally relevant experiences, activities and academic enrichment that help them succeed.
